Formed as Terd Fergusen and the Skid marks in 2002, when vocalist/guitarist Mickey Fingers, drummer Scott Stevens and bassist Joe McElroy were early in their respective so called lives, the group grew frustrated by the turn of the millennium at the lack of all ages venues in Los Angeles. | SOUTH SIDE JERRY http://www.southsidejerry.com/index.php Jerry Mellix, AKA "SOUTHSIDE JERRY", has been entertaining audiences with his unique musical sound and style in and around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania since the mid 1960's. By 1979, Jerry was playing his saxophone in "warm up" and back up bands for various artists performing in Pittsburgh such as Lee Dorsey, The Temptations, The O'Jays, The Coasters and many more. Jerry's incomparable sax and vocal style has been heard from Trump's Plaza in Atlantic City, N.J. through the French quarters blues bars in New Orleans to Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. Although the BLUES 'N' 'AT CD is the first release as a leader, he can be heard on numerous recording sessions with local Pittsburgh groups. He can also be seen in videos that feature nationally known artists such as The Clovers and The Marcels. JERRY currently performs with various local and national entertainers. When time permits he is the front man of his own five piece blues/jazz ensemble he calls The BLUES 'N' AT BAND. (The name is a play on Pittsburgh vernacular aka.'PITTSBURGHEES').
