| Description: | Cotswold based jazz duo, Bob (piano) and Bex (vocals and percussion) garnish their wide ranging repertoire with gems from early jazz and blues, through Latin and Beatles to contemporary songs, including some of their own compositions. At one moment recalling the haze of a 1940's smoky jazz club, the next, carnival time in Rio or a sandy beach in Jamaica. All performed in their individual spontaneous fashion.
Combining their talents in 2002 to fulfil a short series of jazz concerts, Bex and Bob discovered a mutual musical empathy and plundered the Gershwin and Ellington song books. Chameleon like, equally at home at a plush wedding or a sleazy night-club they blend the music to their surroundings. |
