| Description: | Anno Domini 2003: a hard-rock band called Dead Scarlet was formed in Oulu, Finland, the date being marked by the band's naming. The band was built on the foundations of earlier musical projects by guys already familiar with each other, and so it was easy to find a common chord.
Amidst relentless training and song-making, the band saw its onstage live premiere in summer -03. Since then the band has gathered gig experience in several rock clubs and small-scale festivals. In the summer of 2004 Dead Scarlet hit the studios, resulting in a three-song demo called Violent Verses. Enriched by the experience and eager for more, the band began planning their next session.
This next project was recorded in the latter half of the same year, and mixing and mastering were finished by spring 2005. The result of this undertaking was an EP containing five crunchy rock tracks: Rock'n'Roll Prostitute. |
