Mike started playing piano at the age of six. After a few years of classical study his interest widened to include the progressive music and keyboard dominated sound of bands like ELP, Genesis, Pink Floyd and Kansas. Both of these musical disciplines have remained lifelong pursuits.
Greg Katona- electric & acoustic guitars
As a guitarist, you have the opportunity to play electric, 12-string acoustic and classical guitar with all the varied characteristics that those instruments imply. And the diverse roles the guitar plays in the music means that it's always exciting to play. From composed and improvised solos to chordal backing to true polyphonic interplay with the other musicians, it's all there. Even in sections of the music when I'm not playing it's still exciting and fulfilling.

Musically trained in his youth and terminally mortified of the accordion lessons that started it all, Miles hasn't done much of anything using fingers on strings since college, where he met Greg. He's currently involved with his mid-life crisis and for the moment has decided against the more traditional red Corvette and is instead having a great time with Foxtrot. Unable to find an amplifier that goes to 11, he has opted for basses that have six strings - though he doesn't remember seeing them in the '70s. Then again, who remembers the '70's? Some things, like disco, are better left in the past.
